The Centenary Celebration Committee of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar headed by the then local member of village decided to set up Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan Sangvi to carry out the programmes and activities for furthering of Dr Ambedkar's ideology and spread his message of social justice to the masses not only in the country but also abroad.
Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan Sangvi was established by the Government of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Welfare (now Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) on March 24, 1992 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
